*The power of kindness*

BY: *Kyomugisa Frankline*

A doctor entered the hospital in a hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery.

He answered the call ASAP, changed his clothes and went directly to the surgery block.

He found the boy's father pacing in the hall waiting for the doctor.

On seeing him the father yelled, Why did you take this long to come?,

Don't you know that my son's life is in danger?

Don't you have any sense of responsibility?

The doctor smiled and answered,

" I am sorry, wasn't in the hospital and I come as fast as I could after receiving the call and now, I wish you'd calm down so that I can do my work".

Calm down?, what if your son was in this room right now, would you calm down?

If your own son dies while waiting for the doctor then what would you do? Added the father angrily!,

The doctor smiled and replied,

"We will do our best by Gods Grace and you should pray for your son's healthy",

The surgery took some hours, after the surgery the doctor went out happily, thanks goodness your son is saved,

And without waiting for the father's replay he carried on his way running by saying,

If you have any question ask the nurse,

Why is he arrogant? He could not wait some minutes so that I ask about my son's state; commented the father shortly after the doctor left.

The nurse answered, tears, coming down her face, his son died yesterday in a road accident, he was at the burial when we called him for your son's surgery and now that he has saved your son's life, he is rushing to finish his sons burial.

This comes down to us never to judge anyone because you never know how their life is and what they are going through,

Be kind, respectful to each one.

Their is a greater need to build a generation that is tolerant, and all can start with us,.

We are an independent young journalist association with members in the U.S, Canada and Uganda.

Our Plan is to avail News, Information and Technologies to remote places, specifically the refugee camps. Our founder realized that the UNHCR and its partners are not investing enough in providing news and information to the refugees making them vulnerable to fake news and rumors, something we are addressing.

Kyangwali News is owned by Refugee News and Information Africa Limited (RNIA Ltd.). Among other things we are planning to address is the need for eLearning for schools through providing connectivity in the form of WiFi so students can easily surf the web at schools.
